Classes & Programs
Early childhood is a time for happy and carefree days with ample time to play, learn and grow. The programs at Pilgrim Lutheran Preschool are designed to provide spiritual, physical, mental and social experiences at the developmental level of the preschool child.
Activities are Christ-centered, showing God’s love and guidance in all areas of Christian living. The programs are flexible and varied, with provisions for experimentation and creative activities. Teachers plan for the needs and abilities of each individual child in their classrooms.
Preschool
The daily schedule includes: group interaction, indoor and outdoor play, art, spiritual growth, motor skill development, snacks, bathroom time, unit time, story time and learning center time.
Special interest centers vary from month to month and include topics like transportation, health, alphabet, shapes, colors, animals and holidays.
Pilgrim Lutheran Preschool sessions generally follow Bellevue School District’s calendar, running from September to the last week of May. (We have more days of school than the Bellevue School District does between September and June. This is because we take only the days off for conferences and vacations.)
