Founders’ Day -- September 21, 2008

2008 marks the 55th year of Pilgrim Lutheran. We have much to celebrate and we will do this in a special way on Sunday, September 21st.

On Sunday, September 21, 2008 we will have one worship at 9:30am. This will be a day when we honor those who have been members for 20 years or longer. New Members will also be received and we will name the Fellowship Hall (The first Sanctuary at Pilgrim) “The Chervenak Celebration Center” in honor of our founders’ and in love and appreciation for Bob and Louise Chervenak. Bob has designed every inch of building on this corner of SE Bellevue Way and SE 11th Street!

There is also a plan for some food and refreshments after the 9:30am celebration on September 21, 2008.

We hear this in I Peter 2: 17a-c

“Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God!”

Let us come together to honor our brothers and sisters who have been here for many years and let us love them and show them our appreciation together.

The gift of your presence will be an awesome source of encouragement and blessing.
