Summer Sunday School & Bible Study

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20, ESV)

The Great Commission is clear. Jesus’ gave his disciples “marching orders.” We have been called to make disciples. Part of making disciples is going - that is reaching out with the Good News of God’s love in Christ Jesus. Another part of making disciples is Jesus’ command to baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. The next aspect of making disciples is “teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

Christians are called to teach and to be life-long learners. Pictured are the four young people who completed Confirmation Instruction and renewed their baptismal vows on June 9, 2019. They have reached a milestone, but their growth in the knowledge and love of our Lord continues - as it does for all the faithful.

This summer, our children are learning about Paul’s Missionary Journeys through a fun interactive study, and adults continue to meet and study various topics - growing closer to God and in fellowship with one another.

Join us at 8:45am for Sunday School and Bible Study. God is sure to use that time to help you grow in your faith.
